We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer for the newly formed NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Sustainable Innovation, hosted by the The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and delivered in partnership with the University of Exeter. The HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) based in Exeter, is one of 14 newly established research centres across England with the objective of working with Commercial Organisations, Researchers and Clinical staff to drive innovation in Health Technology.
You will be an experienced, Senior Manager with a passion for transforming services using newly developed technologies. You will likely come from a life sciences or similar background with a strong understanding of business development and delivery, and operational knowledge of how to deliver projects from ideation to commercialisation through partnership working and an ability to generate funding models.
This is a new position and an opportunity to really make your mark. You will be given the autonomy to truly shape the strategic direction and success of the HRC with the underlying support of your employer, the Royal Devon, the NIHR infrastructure and the University of Exeter innovation team.
