Senior Healthcare Assistant to assist the Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Multi-disciplinary Team with rehabilitating the ward patients. Opportunities for further training and to acquire further skills with venepuncture, cannulation and ECG Training.
Are you looking for a new challenge? Doris Heard ward Exmouth Community Hospital may just have the right job role as a Senior Healthcare Assistant within our Intermediate Care team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, caring and hardworking person. You would be part of a Multi-disciplinary team providing Rehabilitation to a mixed age range of patients. Our aim is to maximize patient's safety, independence and quality of life using strength based approach. Our skills include mobility and transfers using some manual handling equipment. We also promote independence with personal care and other activities of daily living. On occasions we need to provide End of Life care and strive to ensure the patient and their family receives excellent care and support from the whole team. Our Team consists of Registered and Unregistered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Support Workers.

Working Pattern: 07:30-20:00, 07:30-20:00, 12:00-20:00, 19:30-08:00

Role Summary
- To contribute to the delivery of patients individual care programmes under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- To practice in accordance with Trust standards and statutory requirements and operate within the boundaries of the role and assessed competencies.
